Instructions for use: The singing bowl is not only suitable for traditional singing bowl sessions, but also for an intensive sound bath. You can stand in the shell or sit in a chair with your feet touching the shell but not the side walls.
Craftsmanship in production: The creation of a hand-beaten singing bowl is a process that requires deep craftsmanship. Each bowl is carefully sculpted by hand. The process begins by melting various metals, which are then cast into specific shapes. These shapes are heated, beaten and shaped until they reach the desired size and sound. This intense process ensures that each singing bowl is unique, both in shape and sound.
After the basic shape is established, the shell is reheated and fine tuned to create its unique sound. Finally, it is smoothed inside and out, cleaned and possibly chiseled for a final touch.
Product composition: The singing bowl consists of a carefully selected mixture of eight (precious) metals:
- Copper: Known for its conductive properties.
- Zinn: Gives the shell strength and depth of sound.
- Zink: Adds a bright tone.
- Nappy: Gives weight and depth to the bowl.
- To demand: Boosts the resonance sound.
- Gold: Adds a warm tonal tone.
- Silver: Produces clear and bright sounds.
- Mercury: Gives the bowl a special sound quality.
Each ingredient and specific composition help create each bowl's distinctive sound and overtone. Since each bowl is handmade, each bowl is also unique in its sound and appearance.
