The diameter given is for guidance only, as the bowls are handmade in Nepal and the diameter may vary slightly. Please note that the singing bowl mallet must be ordered separately.
Material composition: The shell consists of a special metal mixture that contains, among other things, copper, tin, zinc, silver and nickel. This combination of metals gives the shell its unique sound and resonance.
Handicrafts from Nepal: Making the singing bowl is a process that requires deep craftsmanship and patience. From the selection of the metals to the final touch, each bowl goes through numerous work steps. After the various metals have been melted and shaped into the desired shape, they are carefully struck and shaped by skilled artisans in Nepal. This process is repeated until the perfect shape and desired sound is achieved. Once completed, each bowl is individually crafted to perfect its unique shape and pure sound. Finally, it is polished and cleaned inside and out to give it its final shiny appearance.
This singing bowl is not only an instrument but also a work of art that reflects the centuries-old tradition and craftsmanship of Nepal.
